While a child's right to confidentiality is respected, children are strongly encouraged to share their feelings and concerns with their parents. Open communication between children and their parents is essential to helping children heal.
Wright Path believes in making counselling an affordable option for individuals and families. If you have an extended extended health care plan or benefits through your employer, it is likely that all or part of your counselling fees will be covered. For example, If you have coverage to see a Registered Psychologist through your insurance plan, a receipt will be provided to you in the affiliate Psychologists' name with her corresponding registration number to allow you to be reimbursed through your insurance. The fee in this case is $150.00/session. Similarly, if you have coverage to see a Registered Social Worker, the receipt will reflect that you received this service with the corresponding registration number. The fee in this case is $120.00/session. If you do not have a benefits plan, a sliding fee scale is available based on feasibility. Please note that counselling fees are not covered by OHIP.
